Who can use World4Brains?
Any business (organization, NGO, government department) or private person can participate either by launching their own private think tank or innovation project or by contributing as a consulting & innovation expert to projects posted.

How does it work - for project clients?
Once you have registered your free account you can give as much or as little information about you or your company as you like. To start your project you simply define the Project Objectives and Project Description plus select the required Consulting Expertise categories and choose the amount you are willing & able to pay.

To activate your project worldwide you will be required to deposit your chosen Project Amount through Paypal - to be held in Escrow by World4Brains (you are fully protected by our 100% money-back World4Brains Guarantee). And right away you will start receiving expert advice from the world's best brains in complete privacy and confidence. You will be able to confer and communicate with your contributing consultants & innovators until the successful conslusion of your project.

How does it work - for consulting experts?
Once you have registered your free account you can set up your Public Profile and choose from as many Consulting Expertise categories as you feel comfortable and qualified.

And right away you will start receiving email invitations to participate in all projects launched within your chosen expertise categories. You can then choose to participate in a particular project or not, it's completely up to you. You can also make yourself "Invisible" anytime you are already too busy with other projects or while going on holidays! :-)

What are Accredited Consultants?
Contributing experts may choose to tell as much or as little about themselves as they feel comfortable with in their Public Profile. Accredited Consultants however have gone through a vetting and verification process where we thoroughly examine their real-life identity and professional credentials in order to guarantee our clients that they really are who they say they are. Any consultant can choose to go through the approval process and become accredited.

How do consultants get paid?
World4Brains Clients will determine whose contributions are most helpful and select one or several consultants who will then equally share the Project Amount (minus our service fee). Outstanding expertise can also be rewarded by awarding, respectively receiving, an Award Bonus! payment that is 100% personal. Accredited Consultants may quote & negotiate direct payments. Clients may also choose to continue working with their preferred consultants directly - outside of our platform - if both sides wish to do so and that is perfectly fine with us!

All money earned is immediately transferred to the consultants' account upon the conclusion of a project and instantly available for withdrawal through Paypal.

Can a consultant also launch projects as a client?
Yes sure! Any user can use the World4Brains platform both to launch projects as well as to contribute to other users projects.

Who are your typical consultants?
They come from all walks of life and all four corners of the world: active or downsized professionals who like to showcase their expertise, retired experts preserving and passing on their accumulated wisdom, smart home makers perhaps on maternity leave, well-credentialed professors, students brimming with unconventional new ideas...

How do you ensure a high quality and expertise level of your consultants?
Although anyone is free and welcome to sign-up and contribute their expertise to the many exciting projects, the majority of World4Brains.com Consultants is carefully hand-picked and are personally invited. We have also developed an Automatic Quality Control system that eliminates anyone deemed to be a 'time-waster' (it's an algorithm, don't ask us about it because we won't tell! :-) Furthermore you can always choose to select only Accredited Consultants to your projects as they have have been thoroughly screened to confirm their real-life identity and professional credentials. You can also Delete comments in your LIVE Project Room or Block a particular consultant from further access to your project.

Is there a rating system in place?
Yes, consulting experts can be compared by looking at how many times their input was rewarded or how many and how much bonus payments they have received, plus if they are Accredited Consultants or not (See above: What are Accredited Consultants?).

Consultants can check out the history of a World4Brains Client by analyzing the total number of projects launched, the total of all Project Amounts, the total number of rewarded contributions, plus the number and total amount of all Award Bonus! payments made.

Do you offer any guarantees to clients and consultants?

Yes we do.
World4Brains Guarantee: Clients who receive low quality contributions from World4Brains Consultants will receive a 100% reimbursement of the project amount.
World4Brains Protection: All consultants & innovators who make valid & valuable contributions to World4Brains projects will get paid.

Why do your clients reward all valid & valuable contributions and appoint the respective consultants & innovators?

There are three reasons why they do it: First, clients generally like to reward great contributions and show their appreciation! (Some clients pay in addition to the total project amount a personal bonus.) The second point is that our clients like to ensure that outstanding talents will be available to them in future projects as well (and perhaps even offer them direct job or consulting contracts). And last but not least, clients enjoy an enhanced copyright protection by their appointments.

Our World4Brains Protection guarantees that all consultants & innovators whose input is considered to be valid & valuable will equally share the project amount (minus our service fee) held in Escrow by World4Brains.

How can you guarantee to be a totally fair and impartial arbiter who takes absolutely no sides, neither for clients nor consultants?
That is simply because we have absolutley zero conflict of interests: We will deduct our service fee from the Project Amount so that our  Quality Assurance & Resolution panel can get paid - regardless of the outcome of their final and binding resolution - and that simple fact ensures that they will judge each case by its own merits, without fear or favor.

Can project clients stay anonymous?
Yes. Some companies or managers prefer to stay completely private which is fine with us. They will only divulge as much information to consultants as they deem necessary. However, the full Project Amount is held in Escrow by World4Brains to guarantee that all winning consultants will get paid for their efforts according to our unique payment system that rewards collaboration instead of competition (no more "one winner takes all" as is normal everywhere else!).

What would happen if a client received no or low quality contributions to his project?
In such an unlikely case the Project Amount will be fully refunded. It could really only happen if the specified  Project Amount is just way too small for the invited consultants & innovators to participate... however, a client could then decide to be more generous and select: Increase Project Amount and upon paying the amount into Escrow by World4Brains, new invitations will be sent out to all respective consultants advising them of the additional funds available.

How much does World4Brains charge?
We deduct a service fee of 30% to pay for: Paypal incoming and outgoing remittance fees, 5% referral commission paid to our World4Brains Ambassadors, other marketing costs, running and further developing our platform, paying salaries, and hopefully one day return some money to our dear investors. This percentage may change as we deem necessary and would be updated here and in our Terms of Service. The use of World4Brains.com constitutes full acceptance of the Terms of Service.
